148. Recapping West Texas Ultra and Matthew 14
In this episode, Chance and Lane take some time to celebrate and reflect on Lane's recent completion of his first Ultramarathon, the West Texas Ultra. The two dive into the emotions surrounding the event, the unexpected changes that took place, and the incredible amount of dedication and perseverance that Lane showed during this challenging event. They share stories and experiences to help show how the mindsets of ultra running can be applied to every day life.
The two then dive deeper into the Gospel of Jesus Christ, by recapping and breaking down the many important lessons that can be found in Matthew 14. They discuss topics such as the snowball effect of sin, the inability to live in complete faith, and the importance of relying on God. Following this in depth discussion, the two invite listeners to study Matthew 15 for next week's episode, and to join them in prayer before closing out the episode.
